A New Form of Advertising: Unethical or Genius?

In all business, marketing is a key element to both planning and promoting. From televisions to billboards, we are surrounded by catchy phrases, songs, and idealistic photographs that send a message to anyone that sees them. These days, marketing mastermind Ben Rogovy has started a new trend, "Bumvertising". Rogovy solicits homeless people to bumvertise his blog and other websites for cash. The homeless young men and women are simply walking advertisements to those who spot them on the street corners and parks. Lately, Rogovy has been called out by local businesses near his Seattle, WA home. Some citizens of the Seattle area claim Rogovy is exploiting the homeless to better himself and his business; meanwhile, others think the idea is universal, as it benefits both parties.
